PASCO — Four Everett pitchers combined to strike out 12 in a seven-hit shutout as the AquaSox opened a six-game series with a 6-0 win over the Tri-City Dust Devils on Tuesday night at Gesa Stadium.

Juan Then started and allowed no runs on just two hits while striking out six in five solid innings. David Ellingson followed with two scoreless innings and three strikeouts, Kyle Hill struck out two in a scoreless eighth inning, and Ben Onyshko needed just eight pitches to complete a perfect ninth.

Cade Marlowe went 3-for-5 with an RBI and Carter Bins drove in two runs to lead the Everett (25-16) offense.

Brent Killam struck out 10 in 5.2 innings and Gareth Morgan had two hits for Tri-City (14-28).
