AquaSox squander big lead, fall to Canadians

VANCOUVER, B.C. — PK Morris hit a walk-off solo home run and the Everett AquaSox squandered a six-run lead in their 7-6 loss to the Vancouver Canadians on Friday.

Morris also hit a three-run blast in the bottom sixth inning to start a string of seven unanswered runs by Vancouver (11-11).

Mackenzie Mueller had three hits and two RBI and and Leo Jimenez added three hits for the Canadians.

Ryan Boyer (1-0) earned the win with a scoreless ninth inning.

James Parker went 4-for-4 with a home run and two RBI, Trent Tingelstad was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Colin Davis drove in two runs during a 2-for-4 performance for the AquaSox (9-14).

Mike Mokma (0-1) allowed four runs on five hits in 1.2 innings of relief and took the loss.
