Athletes of the Week

Boys soccer: Rebel Hall of Kamiak scored four goals and had an assist in a 9-3 victory over Mountlake Terrace.

Girls golf: Christa Goldie of Kamiak scored 34 Stableford points over nine holes at Harbour Pointe Golf Course to lead the Knights to a win over Snohomish, Edmonds-Woodway and Shorewood.

Boys golf: Dylan Goodwin of Kamiak shot a 1-under-par 71 at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club to lead the Knights to a win over Oak Harbor, Snohomish and Arlington.

Baseball: Travis Snider of Jackson hit a two-run home run and a three-run home run in a 13-0 win over Mountlake Terrace.

Girls tennis: Rachel Bhak of Jackson came back from a first-set loss to win 2-6, 6-1, 7-5 at No. 1 singles in a 4-3 win over Edmonds-Woodway.

Softball: Cory Mattson of Everett struck out 18 batters and just missed pitching a perfect game, giving up a single with two outs in the seventh inning of a 2-0 win over Edmonds-Woodway. She did pitch a perfect game and had 10 strikeouts in a 10-0 win over Shorewood, running her record to 6-0 without an earned run allowed this season.

Co-Girls track: Brittany Aanstad of Lake Stevens won the pole vault, javelin and high jump in a Wesco North win over Snohomish and Mount Vernon.

Erin Kearney of Cedarcrest won the freshman 1,600-meter run, set a meet record in winning the freshman 800 and ran a leg on the winning 800 relay team in the Don Holder Invitational at Yakima.

Boys track: Miguel Pierre of Cascade won the 200-meter dash and the long jump and ran a leg for the winning 400 relay team in a Wesco North win over Oak Harbor and Arlington.
