The fans are really into it now as the Huskies have built an eight-point lead and just got the ball back on a traveling call.
Odd stat of the half so far: Artem Wallace is outscoring UCLA freshman phenom Kevin Love 4-0. Love has missed some close shots inside, and the Huskies are doing a pretty good job keep the ball out of his hands (it’s also helping that the refs are not living up to their usual Pac-10 reputations and letting some contact go).
It’s 31-23 with 3:40 left in the half.
