Merchants pummel Honkers 16-4

EVERETT — Sam Linscott had four hits, including three doubles, and Patrick Chung tripled and scored five times to lead the Everett Merchants over the Northwest Honkers 16-4 on Wednesday evening at Funko Field at Everett Memorial Stadium.
Chung finished with three hits and Jake Tilley went 2-for-4 with a double and three runs scored for Everett (25-8).
Charlie Wright allowed three runs, two earned, over eight innings pitched to earn the win.
