Player update and playoff video, and more

First off, check out the Silvertips’ playoff video above.

Second, an update on Everett’s players for Saturday’s Game 1 in Kent. The Tips are not discussing the health situations of any of their players, including goaltender Austin Lotz and center Jujhar Khaira, neither of whom finished Sunday’s season finale at Portland. But both Lotz and Khaira practiced fully Friday and appear ready to go. Winger Tyler Sandhu, who was scratched for last Sunday’s game for undisclosed reasons, did not practice Friday. Center Kohl Bauml remains laid up because of a leg fracture.

Finally, the Tips have some special events brewed up for the start of the playoffs. Everett is attempting to create a “Sea of Green” at Everett’s home games. They’re also holding a Block Party prior to Sunday’s game at Comcast Arena, beginning at 2 p.m.

There’s little more than 24 hours remaining before the Everett Silvertips and Seattle Thunderbirds face off for the first time ever in the playoffs. See you at ShoWare!
