MONROE — The eighth-ranked Bearcats (7-1 overall, 6-0 league) clinched their fourth straight league title and a spot in a Round of 32 playoff game. Monroe, led by four touchdowns from Carl Watson and three from Mason Davis, will play the Wesco 3A North champion next week. Meadowdale (3-5, 2-4) will play Stanwood, the No. 3 team in the North, next week for a Round of 32 spot.

Mountlake Terrace 28, Edmonds-Woodway 17

EDMONDS — The Hawks (6-2 overall, 4-1 in league) locked into second place in the league, has clinched a Round of 32 playoff game for either Nov. 8 or 9. Terrace will play the No. 2 from Wesco 3A North next week. Edmonds-Woodway fell to 2-6, 1-5.

Shorecrest 20, Shorewood 13

SHORELINE — Shorecrest (5-3 overall, 3-3 league) clinched third place in the South, and will play Mount Vernon, the fifth-place team from the Wesco 3A North, next week for a spot in a Round of 32 game. Shorewood (5-3, 3-3) clinched fourth and will play Ferndale, the No. 4 team from the North.

Stanwood 13, Mount Vernon 6

STANWOOD — Silas Turpin’s 11 carries for 99 yards and two touchdowns helped the Spartans (4-3 overall, 4-2 league) clinch third place in the North. Stanwood will play, Meadowdale, the fifth-place team from the Wesco 3A South, next week for a spot in a Round of 32 game. Quarterback Alex Maldonado added 101 passing yards, and Chance Swanson and Cruise Swanson each intercepted a Mount Vernon pass. The Bulldogs fell to 2-6, 2-4.

Snohomish 40, Marysville Getchell 21

MARYSVILLE — Senior running back Brody Strandt rushed for 230 yards on 29 carries and scored four touchdowns as the Panthers (1-7, 1-5) won their first game of the season. Chargers (2-6, 1-5) quarterback Arion Palacol registered 22 carrier for 156 yards and two TDs.

Wesco 4A

Glacier Peak 41, Jackson 14

SNOHOMISH — The Grizzlies (7-1, 4-1) clinched at top-four league finish and a spot in the Round of 32, which begins Nov. 8. GP will play Kamiak in the regular season finale on Nov. 1. With Kamiak’s loss to Lake Stevens on Saturday, Jackson (5-3, 3-3) qualified for the Round of 32.

Arlington 47, Mariner 0

EVERETT — The No. 8 Eagles (7-1, 4-1) clinched a spot in a Nov. 8 or 9 Round of 32 game and a top-four league finish. Arlington faces No. 5 Lake Stevens in Friday’s regular season finale for the league title. Mariner fell to 1-7, 0-5.

Lake Stevens 57, Kamiak 12

EVERETT — The fifth-ranked Vikings improved to 6-2 overall and 5-0 in league on Saturday. Lake Stevens will play at No. 8 Arlington on Friday for the Wesco 4A title.

EVERETT — Cascade quarterback Ray Siharath threw for 201 yards and three touchdowns on 10-for-12 passing as the Bruins improved to 3-5 overall. Andi Cosme caught three passes for 102 yards and two scores and added four rushes for 43 yards a TD. Marques Reeves contributed four catches for 70 yards, and Jayden Hill scored on an 11-yard TD reception. Individual statistics were not reported for Everett (1-7 overall).

Sultan 38, Centralia 7

SULTAN — Julio Vargas Jr. gained 179 yards and scored three times on five touches as the Turks improved to 5-3 on Saturday. Benjamin Dilger added 13 carries for 134 yards on two touchdowns and also completed a 30-yard pass to Vargas.
