Prep stars of the night for Thursday, April 11:

Olivia Poulton, Lakewood softball

Poulton, a senior, hit a walk-off triple in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Cougars a 6-5 win over Sedro-Woolley. Poulton went 2-4 with a pair of RBI in the game.

Thomas Blahous, Edmonds-Woodway baseball

Blahous, a junior, no-hit Cedarcrest in the Warriors’ 3-0 win. He struck out 17 batters and walked one.

Brock Gillis, Cascade baseball

Gillis, a junior, no-hit Lake Stevens in an 8-1 win over the Vikings. He struck out 11 batters, walked two and hit two batsmen while allowing one unearned run.

Ben Borgida, Shorewood boys golf

Borgida earned medalist honors in a Wesco 3A/2A South match at Jackson Park Golf Course, carding a 1-over-par 36, helpiing the Thunderbirds top the team standings.

Ray Free, Meadowdale boys track & field

Free, a senior, landed a triple jump of 45 feet, 5.5 inches in a meet at Edmonds Stadium with Snohomish and Mountlake Terrace, the fourth-best mark in the state among those reported to www.athletic.net. His long jump of 22-2, also attained Thursday, is the fifth-best mark in the state in that event.

Taylor Roe, Lake Stevens girls track & field

Roe, a senior, posted the state’s second-best time in the 800 meters in a meet with Monroe, clocking in a 2 minutes, 13.6 seconds.
