Still no Hasselbeck

RENTON — The Seattle Seahawks went through another practice without quarterback Matt Hasselbeck on Thursday, and his chances of playing Sunday at San Francisco are diminishing each day.

Hasselbeck is nursing a sore back. Coach Mike Holmgren said earlier this week that the quarterback needed to practice this week if he was going to play in the game, so Friday’s practice might dictate whether Hasselbeck will be available.

If Hasselbeck misses his third consecutive game on Sunday, Seneca Wallace would likely start at quarterback.

Also missing Thursday’s practice were wide receiver Deion Branch (bruised heel) and right guard Floyd Womack (illness).

The official injury report comes out Friday.
