CROSS COUNTRY
RICHLAND — Jackson High school won the boys and girls races at the 55th Max Jensen Invitational on Saturday in Richland. Selena Bangerter led the Timberwolves in the girls race with a runner-up finish while Kenenisa Udo led the Timberwolves boys by finishing fourth.

Hole in the Wall Invitational
LAKEWOOD — In an event featuring over 120 teams, Jesuit (Portland) won the girls elite division with Arlington finishing ninth. In the boys elite race, Coeu D’Alene won with Arlington finishing ninth. In the boys gold competition, Glacier Peak’s Blake Roberts outlasted Lake Stevens’ Weston Breen by 0.7 seconds, but the Vikings captured the team trophy.

Mountain Loop Invite
GRANITE FALLS — Seattle Academy captured the girls team title in the event hosted by Granite Falls H.S. Mountlake Terrace finished fourth, followed by Lake Stevens’ fifth-place finish. Cedar Park Christian (Bothell) took the first six places in the boys race to finished ahead of runner-up Lake Stevens and third-place Mariner.
