Wolf leads Silvertips to a win over the Winterhawks

Everett’s 3-0 victory is its first win of the preseason

EVERETT— Dustin Wolf made 18 saves to lead the Everett Silvertips to a 3-0 win over the Portland Winterhawks on Sunday in the final game of the Delta Hotels Preseason Classic at Angel of the Winds Arena.

Everett posted 43 shots in its first win of the preseason win. The Silvertips lost their first two preseason games against Tri-City on Friday (4-3 SOL) and Seattle on Saturday (5-4 OTL).

In Sunday’s game, Riley Sutter, Sean Richards and Connor Dewar each scored a goal.
