Yet another injury

It turns out center Vitali Karamnov wasn’t the only casualty of Prince George.
Defenseman Taylor Ellington suffered a fractured bone in his foot while blocking a shot in Thursday’s 5-4 shootout victory. The fracture is to a non-weight-bearing bone, so he’ll only miss two or three weeks (Ellington actually finished the game with the injury), but that’s still two or three weeks without a top-pairing d-man.
As for Karamnov, he escaped without any type of fracture in his injured shoulder. However, he does have a bad bruise on his clavicle and will likely miss a couple weeks.
With Kyle Beach still out with his concussion, that’s three key guys missing from the lineup. We’ll find out about Everett’s depth now.
