A victim of our PC society

The recent decision by United Way to drop financial support for the Boy Scouts of America, is yet another case of buckling under to political correctness. Just because the Boy Scouts organization does not choose to compromise its credo, it must suffer the ill-conceived consequences. The United Way representatives have shown that they are followers, not leaders of our community. Political correctness in our social endeavors and our daily life, and it continues to undermine freedom of choice in this country. We do have the freedom of choice, but watch out for the consequences if we exercise that freedom. The Boy Scouts of America is a part of American history and still deserves our thanks for service to the community.
