Mink farmers help the local economy

Regarding the Monday letter titled: “Eco-terrorism: Let’s put energy in other places”: My brother-in-law raised thousands of mink in the Lynnwood area for many years. He and his family worked very hard at their business enterprise. He and his wife were able to send three children through college. The family contributed much to their local economy.
The writer refers to the Sept. 9 article, “Housing prices pinching workers.” The writer suggests that a special task force be established to help solve the problem of “financial terrorism,” “nutrition terrorism” – etc. This, perhaps, is a great idea. I believe the writer should organize such an effort to help improve, at least, the Snohomish County economy.
The first volunteer task could assist the recently vandalized Sultan area mink farm in restoring the damage sustained by the eco-terrorists.
