ARLINGTON – Jake Webb found the perfect way to open the Arlington Eagles season.

Webb returned the opening kickoff 90-yards for a touchdown and Arlington never looked back in upsetting the Snohomish Panthers 19-14 Friday night.

Arlington’s defense forced three fumbles inside the 5-yard line and added a safety in the fourth quarter when they forced Snohomish quarterback Nick Caraballa to intentional ground in the end zone.

“We played really good in camp and we knew we were in the right direction. We expected to be in this game,” Arlington assistant coach Reed Richardson said.

Casey Fortin led the Panthers with 144 yards rushing.
