Senior linebacker Scott White didn’t practice with the team on Thursday, a day after saying that he was considering leaving the team because of his demotion to the second team. White, one of Washington’s most experienced players, is now behind Dan Howell at the outside linebacker spot.

Coach Tyrone Willingham told the media that he did not know why White was absent and also that he had met with White earlier in the day.
