Plays

Fishnet Theatre and Sanctuary Ministries will present “The Shofar” at 10 a.m. Sunday.

The play centers on a young priest in Jerusalem facing difficult decisions about his life, beliefs and the origin of Jesus.

Bethel Baptist Church presents “Christ in the Passover,” 11 a.m. Sunday.

The event will look at the practice of Passover and Jesus Christ’s last supper.

Jews for Jesus and Sanctuary Ministries present “Christ in the Passover,” 7 p.m. March 7.

The sermon will discuss the link between the ancient festival of redemption and Jesus Christ. There will also be a table set with traditional Passover items.

Speaker Petr Barbatunov will use the presentation as a living illustration of the life, death and resurrection of Christ.

A communion service is included. Admission is free.

WOMEN’S EVENTs

The Calvary Baptist Church MOPS group still has a few openings.

Mothers of Preschoolers is a group for women who have at least one child, infant through kindergarten, or who are pregnant. The group is intended for all mothers of preschoolers.

MOPS meets from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Child care is provided.

Registration is open for the next two series of the Christian-based “Learn to Let Go and Grow” workshops set for 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Old Snohomish Library, 105 Cedar Ave., Snohomish. Each evening features a different series. Members select one seven-week series.

North Creek Presbyterian Church presents a GriefShare video seminar and support group, 7 to 9 p.m. The group will continue to meet Thursdays for 13 weeks in the Fireside Room of the church. Cost: $12 for sessions and workbook.

The group is designed to support those who are grieving the death of any significant person.
