EVERETT — With the score tied at a goal a piece in extra time, Jeff Gosslee came up big for Cascade, bicycle kicking a throw-in into the goal to give the Bruins a 2-1 victory over Snohomish Friday night at Everett Memorial Stadium.

“We didn’t miss our chances,” Cascade coach Daghan Kesim said.

Snohomish is the reigning Wesco North champ and Cascade was the runner-up last year so there was plenty of excitement heading into the game. After Friday’s finish, passions shouldn’t dissipate either.

“This will make the next game a whole lot more fun to watch,” Kesim said.

Cascade notched the first goal, when Gerardo Martinez scored off a Gosslee assist in the 30th minute. Snohomish came back to tie in the 60th minute on a Brendan Gundry goal.
