PREP GIRLS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Burns leads Kamiak to 52-44 win

EVERETT — Last season, the only loss Archbishop Murphy’s girls basketball team had was in the 2A state championship game. This season, the Wildcats matched that loss total in the first game, falling to Kamiak 52-44 in a non-conference contest Tuesday night.
Lexi Burns led the Knights with 21 points including six points in the fourth quarter.
“Burns was the best player on the court,” Archbishop Murphy coach John Barhanovich said.
