Prep boys soccer: Murphy 8, Sultan 0

EVERETT — Senior co-captain Sean Ryan, who scored goals in the 22nd minute (Alexis Magana assist), 45th minute (Riley Rayner) and in the 78th (Magana), led Archbishop Murphy (4-0 league, 5-0 overall) to a Cascade Conference win. Rayner added his own goal in the 15th minute. Steven Briede scored in the 48th minute on a Tyler Ptacek assist and in the 64th minute on a Nick Ulowetz assist. Jordan Trinka got the shutout in goal for Archbishop Murphy. David Skinner and Danny Arroyo shared time in goal for Sultan (2-2, 2-2). Archbishop Murphy has not allowed a goal this season.
