Another honor for Glacier Peak’s Neale

Glacier Peak sophomore Amy-Eloise Neale has been named the Gatorade Washington Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year.
A two-time Gatorade Washington Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year, Neale won the 1,600- and 3,200-meter races at the 3A state meet in May. Neale ranks in the top 10 n
ationally in the 1,500, 1,600, mile and 2,000 steeplechase. Neale was second in the 2,000 steeplechase at the New Balance Nationals in June. Her time of 6 minutes, 42 seconds set a sophomore national record.
