FOOTBALL

CHRISTIAN GASCA, Lake Stevens

The Vikings wide receiver caught nine passes for 93 yards and had two punt returns for touchdowns of 75 and 44 yards to lead Lake Stevens to a win over Inglemoor 45-25.

BOYS TENNIS

RYAN TSUJI, Lynnwood

The Royals No. 3 singles player was the lone Lynnwood player to win matches last week, beating Shorecrest’s Nishaant Limaye 6-2, 6-3 and Austin Hoyt 6-3, 6-4 to improve his record to 5-0 on the season.

GIRLS SOCCER

KELLY GOULD, Archbishop Murphy

The Wildcats senior scored four goals in a win 9-0 win over Coupeville and added a goal and an assist in Murphy’s 5-0 win over Granite Falls. She also had two goals in Murphy’s win over Class 4A Jackson.

VOLLEYBALL

JENNIFER TSUJI, Lynnwood

The Royals setter had 44 assists in a 3-1 win over Arlington and added 24 assists in a three-set sweep of Shorecrest to help the Royals remain undefeated.

GIRLS SWIMMING

KALENA LAURENT, Cascade

The Bruins junior recorded state-meet qualifying times in the 200 freestyle (1:57.46) and the 100 butterfly (58.61) and helped the Bruins notch wins in the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay in Cascade’s 106-62 victory over the Jackson.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

AARON ROE, Jackson

The Timberwolves harrier had the ninth-fastest time at the Sundodger Invite to lead Jackson to a first-place finish at the prestigious meet Saturday and took second as Jackson edged Kamiak in a Wesco South varsity meet earlier in the week.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

BRI GIBSON, Snohomish

The Panthers runner had the ninth-fastest time at the Sundodger Invite as the Panthers took first and also took home first place in a nonconference meet against Meadowdale and Lynnwood.
