Man dies after truck crashes in Maltby area

MALTBY — A man died Thursday morning after his pickup crashed into an embankment in the Maltby area.

The accident was reported about 9:30 a.m. in the 20700 block of Yew Way.

Investigators believe the truck was southbound when it left the road, struck several trees and rolled down an embankment.

The driver died at the scene. No other cars are believed to be involved.

The crash remains under investigation by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. No further details were available.
