Wreck delays I-5 commuters in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD — A three-car wreck slowed the morning commute on southbound I-5 in Lynnwood on Monday.

The accident was reported about 7:15 a.m. near 196th Street SW, said trooper Mark Francis with the Washington State Patrol.

Several lanes were closed for more than an hour while troopers investigated.

At least one person was injured and hospitalized, Francis said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
