Safety Kam Chancellor, receiver Doug Baldwin and receiver Sidney Rice are all making good progress in their recovery from concussions suffered Sunday, Pete Carroll said, and have a good shot at making it back for Sunday’s game in St. Louis.

“There’s a good chance those guys will all play,” Carroll said.

Later, when asked about depth at safety behind Kam Chancellor, Carroll said, “Well, I figure that he’s going to play… We’re pretty confident that we’re going to see Kam play.”

Carroll also said that he’ll go with Paul McQuistan at right guard over Lemuel Jeanpierre, who came in and played Sunday when John Moffitt went down with a knee injury. Carroll said McQuistan, who played under Tom Cable in Oakland, has an advantage because of his knowledge of the system.

“We feel comfortable with him playing.” Carroll said. “He’s well versed, he’s played all the spots for us, he has more background with our system, and that helps some. He’s more familiar with all the calls we have to make.”

The status of safety Atari Bigby and defensive end Anthony Hargrove, who both have hamstring injuries, won’t be known until late in the week.

Tight end Cameron Morrah, who has missed the last two games with knee and toe injuries, should return to practice this week and is on track to play, Carroll said.
