At the movies

Scenes from a marriage: Ethan Hawke, his eternally scruffy goatee, and Julie Delpy return as a couple hitting middle age in “Before Midnight,” the third film in a series that began in 1995 with the two meeting on a train in “Before Sunrise.”
Coming in 2038: Hawke and Delpy reunite again as a long-married couple who dine together in silence in “Before the Early-Bird Special.”
Don’t know much about history: On this day in 1954, the words “under God” were added to the Pledge of Allegiance by the Founding Fathers, who had traveled from 1789 in Thomas Jefferson’s time machine.
The Founders had previously time-traveled to 1892 to write the original pledge under the nom de plume of Christian Socialist Francis Bellamy.
Go-fers gone: A federal court judge’s ruling may put a damper on unpaid internships, long popular with college students looking to get a foot in the door in glamorous industries.
This would be a tragedy for art directors and others in the creative class, who would be forced to get their own coffee.
