Arrest in case of man found dead in Chelan County

WENATCHEE — The Chelan County sheriff says detectives have made an arrest in the case of a 33-year-old man found fatally shot last August in Manson, Washington.
Sheriff Brian Burnett said Benito Sedano, 55, was arrested Monday for investigation of first-degree kidnapping and assault.
The man whose remains were found last August has been identified as Ignacio Ramirez. The sheriff says Ramirez died from multiple gunshot wounds and was buried in a shallow grave in a remote area of Manson.
Burnett says Sedano is accused of abducting Ramirez at gunpoint from a trailer in downtown Manson.
The investigation continues.
