Clear out your outdoors gear or buy more at Everett swap

The Everett Mountaineers are hosting a gear grab and potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Craig Romano, an expert on hiking in Washington state, will speak about hiking in the San Juans and Gulf Island. Romano recently wrote a book on hikes in the area.

Attendees can bring outdoor gear to trade or sell. Also bring something to contribute to the potluck. You don’t need to be a Mountaineers member to participate.

The event is at Everett United Church of Christ, 2624 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.
