Pick of the Week: Kids Fish-In

The city park on the west side of Silver Lake is the site of Saturday’s annual Kids Fish-In sponsored by Everett Parks and Recreation and the Everett Steelhead and Salmon Club.

Registration forms are available at https://everettwa.gov/652/Kids-Fish-In. The forms can be faxed to 425-257-8325 or scanned and e-mailed to the address on the forms. They also can be dropped off weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Everett Parks office at 802 E. Mukilteo Boulevard.

The child must be registered by 5:30 p.m. Friday, or he or she can show up at the lake on Saturday morning and hope there’s space available.

If possible, the youngsters should bring their own tackle.
