Washington on the Rocks: Washington on the Rocks, an event celebrating the best in Northwest distilleries, is Aug. 19 at the Everett Yacht Club. The afternoon session is 3 to 5 p.m. And the sunset session is 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets include eight tasting tokens and access to appetizers, and are $40 for the morning and $45 for the sunset; www.waontherocks.com.

Everett Craft Beer Festival: The fifth annual Everett Craft Beer Festival will feature 30 Washington breweries, including a number of Snohomish County breweries, from noon to 7 p.m. Aug. 20. Wizard Akvavit release party: Bluewater Distilling is holding a release party for its Wizard Akvavit, an oak barrel-aged akvavit that spent seven months in the Bering Sea aboard the crab fishing boat F/V Wizard, from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 3 at the distillery’s beach bar, 1205 Craftsman Way, Suite 109, Everett. Each bottle will be signed by Wizard captain Keith Colburn and Bluewater distiller John Lundin. Brew at the Zoo: Enjoy a cold beer and some wild animals at Brew at the Zoo Beer Tasting at Woodland Park Zoo from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 6. The event is 21-and-over and tickets range from $27 to $67. Bothell Beer Festival: Celebrate all things Bothell beer at the third annual Bothell Beer Festival from noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 15 in downtown Bothell.
