Here are four local high school contests worth keeping an eye on this week:

Boys basketball: Stanwood at Edmonds-Woodway, 7:15 p.m., Tuesday. Two of the top teams in the Wesco 3A conference face off. The Spartans (9-1, 2-0) hope standout Chase Strieby will be healthy after injuring his ankle during a Dec. 27 game in San Diego. The Warriors (8-2, 3-0) have featured a high-powered offense, averaging 79 points per game in their past seven contests.

Prep basketball: Archbishop Murphy at King’s, 5 p.m. (girls), 6:45 p.m. (boys), Friday. The two King’s squads have maintained their dominance over the Cascade Conference in recent years, but the Murphy teams are talented and have hopes of dethroning the perennial powers. There will be plenty of star power in the boys game, with sharp-shooting Knights guard Corey Kispert leading his team against dominant Wildcats big man Abraham Lucas.

Girls basketball: Kamiak at Glacier Peak, 7:15 p.m., Friday. The Grizzlies (8-1 overall, 3-0 Wesco 4A) established themselves as conference favorites with a win over Lake Stevens earlier in the season, and they can solidify that position with a victory over the Knights (5-3, 2-0). The game features an interesting contrast of styles — Kamiak prefers to push the pace and shoot 3-pointers, while Glacier Peak can slow the game down by running its offense through post Kayla Watkins.

Boys wrestling: Edmonds-Woodway, Mount Vernon, Stanwood, Everett at Everett Classic, 9 a.m., Saturday. There will be plenty of local talent on display at this five-team tournament. The 152-pound division should be fun to watch — it features Edmonds-Woodway’s Anthony Lindamood (ranked second in the state by washingtonwrestlingreport.com), Everett’s Patrick West (third) and Stanwood’s Riley Van Scoy (fourth).
