Mary O’Brien, principal at North Middle School in Everett, was named the Association of Washington School Principals’ 2016-17 Sno-Isle Region Middle Level Principal of the Year. O’Brien may now be considered for the state-level honor.

“The contributions you have made to your school, students and community are noteworthy and particularly apparent to those who took time to nominate you for this award,” wrote Andrew Cain, president of Association of Washington Middle Level Principals.
