Craydi Moen, a student at Everett High School, recently served as a page in the Washington House of Representatives. She was sponsored by Rep. Mike Sells, D-Everett.

Pages perform a wide variety of tasks, from presenting the flags to distributing amendments on the House floor. In addition, pages receive daily civics instruction, draft their own bills, and participate in mock committee hearings.

To become a page, applicants must have a legislative sponsor and be between the ages of 14 and 16. For more information about the legislative page program, visit tinyurl.com/HouseLegPage (Washington State House) or tinyurl.com/SenatePage (Washington State Senate).
