South Sound Spirit Gathering: The Washington Distillers Guild hosts the second South Sound Spirit Gathering from 4 to 9 p.m. March 11 at the Olympic Flight Museum, 7637 Old Highway 99 SE, Tumwater. There will more than 20 distillers on hand offering samples, including Lynnwood’s Temple Distilling and Snohomish’s Skip Rock Distillers. Tickets are $35.

Temple Distilling wins award: Lynnwood’s Temple Distilling recently won a bronze medal for its Bookmark Limoncello in the Specialty Spirits category at the 2017 American Craft Spirits Association awards. Temple uses its Navy Strength gin as a base and adds peeled organic lemons and pure cane sugar to make its limoncello.
