2 injured in Highway 9 crash near Snohomish

SNOHOMISH — Two people were injured after a crash Tuesday night at the intersection of Highway 9 and Lowell Larimer Road.

It happened just after 9:30 p.m.

An Everett man, 38, was westbound on Lowell Larimer in a Dodge truck. He reportedly failed to stop at the signal to enter the highway.

The Dodge collided with a southbound Honda Civic. The Everett man was hospitalized, along with an 80-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Honda. They were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. The Honda driver was unhurt.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating.
