Bicyclist hospitalized after being hit by car

EVERETT — A bicyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center on Wednesday after she was struck by a car in unincorporated south Everett.

The bicyclist had been riding along 128th Street SW, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. She was hit by a car in front of Denny’s near the entrance to I-5.

The driver stayed at the scene.

All eastbound lanes between I-5 and Fourth Avenue West were closed while detectives investigate.

No additional information was available Wednesday evening.
