Sleepless in Seattle: Chabad Jewish Center of Snohomish County hosts a Shavuot event, 11 p.m. May 30 at the home of Rabbi Berel Paltiel. The gathering, featuring speakers and Torah discussions, follows a Jewish custom of preparing to receive the Torah. More info: www.jewishsnohomish.com.
