Vandals damage credit card machine at Rotary Park launch

EVERETT — Boaters using the Rotary Park launch should bring cash or a check to pay fees after vandals damaged the credit card machine there.

Parks staff was alerted to the damage late Wednesday morning. It appeared someone had placed a firework inside the machine. Crews plan to install a replacement machine by sometime next week.

Meanwhile, patrols can drop a $7 check or cash in a payment box. Park rangers will be collecting the payments daily.

Everett police are investigating the vandalism.
