Girls soccer

Jaydn Bush, Lake Stevens

Bush, a senior forward, scored a goal Saturday to propel the Vikings over Kamiak 1-0 in the 4A Northwest District tournament second-place game.

Volleyball

Sidney Goodall, Lakewood

Goodall had 17 digs in the Cougars’ 3-1 loss to Lyn

den in a 2A District 1 tournament game, then had 14 kills and 12 digs in Lakewood’s 3-0 win over Anacortes in a loser-out contest Thursday.

Cross country

Taylor Roe, Lake Stevens

Roe, a junior, placed second in the 4A girls state championship meet, finishing the 5,000-meter run in a time of 17 minutes, 37.6 seconds.

Girls swimming and diving

Anna Sargent, Shorecrest

Sargent won the 200-yard freestyle and 500 freestyle events, and was a part of the Scots’ winning 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay teams Saturday at the Wesco 3A district meet.

Football

Aaron Martinez, Oak Harbor

Martinez, a junior running back/linebacker, had 75 rushing yards and a touchdown, and led the Wildcats’ defensive effort with 14 tackles Saturday during Oak Harbor’s 21-3 Week 10 Playoff win over Seattle Prep.
