As I noted Tuesday, Hart has been at his best during the month of November during his WHL career. Making this stretch all the more remarkable is that he’s doing so after missing a dozen games due to mononucleosis.
Hart’s performance in November vaulted him past Portland netminder Cole Kehler in the WHL for save percentage and goals-against average. Nevertheless, Kehler is having a terrific campaign as well.
Gotta think it was a close race between @WHLsilvertips Carter Hart and @PDXWinterhawks Cole Kehler for Goaltender of the Month in the WHL. Here's @Kehler298 numbers for the month of November:
Record: 10-0-0-1
GAA: 1.54

The Silvertips are in action tonight as they play at Kamloops for the first time since their season began to turn around at the end of October.
In other news:
– If you’re looking to do a little reading you can catch up on this piece from the Canadian Press that looks at Hart’s presumed return between the pipes for Team Canada at the upcoming World Junior Championship. Camp begins Dec. 12 so it seems likely Hart’s last game with the Tips before taking off for camp will be Dec. 10 at Tri-City.
– The Laval Rocket, the AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens are in action tonight against the Syracuse Crunch. Presumably former Silvertip captain Noah Juulsen will be skating for the Rocket. Juulsen made his regular-season professional debut Wednesday in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Belleville Senators.

Juulsen was considered to be on the short list to make the Canadiens roster before breaking his foot during the preseason.
