Edmonds CC basketball standout signs with Drexel

Edmonds Community College basketball standout Zach Walton signed a letter of intent Wednesday with Drexel University.
Edmonds coach Kyle Gray announced the signing on Twitter.

Gray, a 6-foot-6 forward from Morton, averaged 20.8 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game this past season. He helped the Tritons (20-10) to a third-place finish in the Northwest Athletic Conference’s North Division.
Walton joins a Drexel team that posted a 13-20 record this past season. The Philadelphia school competes in the Colonial Athletic Association along with the College of Charleston, Northeastern, Hofstra, William & Mary, Towson, North Carolina-Wilmington, Elon, Delaware and James Madison.
