Christian Engmann

King’s | Boys Soccer

Engmann, a junior, recorded a hat trick and dished out two assists to help the Knights beat Sultan 8-0 Friday in a North Sound Conference match.

Ashley Jacobson

Glacier Peak | Softball

Jacobson, a junior, hit a game-winning solo home run off Jackson ace Iyanla Pennington in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday to give the Grizzlies a 2-1 win over the nationally ranked Timberwolves.

Tori Killinger and Ana Sulantay

Stanwood | Girls Tennis

Killinger and Sultanay, both seniors, rallied from a 6-1 first-set defeat to beat Cascade’s Ainsley Jordan and Maddie Broome at No. 2 doubles Thursday, helping the Spartans to a 4-3 victory in the non-conference meet.

Devin Kim

Kamiak | Boys Golf

Kim, a senior, shot a 4-under-par 32 to take medalist honors in the first Wesco 4A boys match of the season Wednesday at Battle Creek Golf Course. Kim helped the Knights finish first in the team standings.

Caden Lockhart

Everett | Baseball

Lockhart, a junior, went 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored and three RBI in the Seagulls’ 8-7 win over Stanwood on Friday. Lockhart also took the mound in the seventh inning and earned the save.

Julia Parra

Arlington | Girls Track & Field

Parra, a junior, threw the shot put 41 feet, 11 inches in a Wesco 3A meet with Marysville Pilchuck and Cedarcrest on Thursday. It’s the fourth-best mark in the state this season and the best in Class 3A, according to athletic.net.

Delaney Peterson

King’s | Girls Golf

Peterson, a junior, earned medalist honors with 25 points as the Knights beat South Whidbey in a nine-hole match at Jackson Park Golf Course played under a modified Stableford scoring system.

Ethan Willems

Glacier Peak | Boys Track & Field

Willems, a junior, posted the fastest 400-meter time in the state according to athletic.net, finishing in 48.99 seconds Thursday during the Grizzlies’ Wesco 4A meet with Kamiak.
