Mariner | Girls Golf

Caparas, a senior, was the co-medalist at a Wesco 4A match April 16 at The Golf Club at Echo Falls. Caparas shot a 2-over-par 38 over nine holes.

Caitlin Dennen and Emily Gouge

Oak Harbor | Girls Tennis

Dennen and Gouge rallied from a second-set loss to score a 6-1, 5-7, 6-3 victory at No. 3 doubles as part of the Wildcats’ 5-2 win over Everett.

Sebastian Figueroa

Lake Stevens | Boys Soccer

Figueroa, a senior, scored two second-half goals Friday to help the Vikings rally from a halftime deficit in a 3-2 win over Kamiak.

Ellie Grant

Snohomish | Girls Track and Field

Grant, a junior, captured first place in the high jump with a mark of 5 feet, 4 inches, and the triple jump with a personal-best of 35-5.25 in a three-team meet Thursday at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Snohomish.

Daniel Kim

Kamiak | Boys Golf

Kim, a freshman, shot a 2-under-par 34 over nine holes April 15 to claim medalist honors and help the Knights to a team victory at an eight-team Wesco 4A match at Avalon Golf Links in Burlington.

Jackie Rookaird

Everett | Softball

Rookaird, a senior, threw a four-hit shutout and struck out 15 Marysville Getchell batters in the Seagulls’ 2-0 win April 16. Rookaird also went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Samuel Van Peursem

Cedar Park Christian | Boys Track and Field

Van Peursem, a senior, won the shot put with a throw of 61-0.5 and the discus with 171-7 mark at the 31st annual Larry Eason Invitational on Saturday in Snohomish.

Jeremy Vierra

Jackson | Baseball

Vierra, a junior, went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a home run in the Timberwolves’ 11-8 victory over Glacier Peak on April 15.
