High school sporting events to keep an eye on this week as state tournament action continues:

Volleyball: 4A state tournament, Friday-Saturday at Yakima Valley SunDome. Coming off a Wesco 4A title and 4A Wes-King Bi-District Tournament crown, Lake Stevens is headed to state for the fourth consecutive year. The Vikings (16-1) face Camas (14-5) in a first-round match at 11:45 a.m. Friday.

Volleyball: 3A state tournament, Friday-Saturday at Yakima Valley SunDome. Snohomish and Arlington are both headed to the 3A state tournament. Making its third consecutive state appearance, Snohomish (14-3) faces Gig Harbor (13-7) in a first-round match at 8 a.m. Friday. Wesco 3A/2A champion Arlington (17-1) is headed to state for just the third time in program history and faces Peninsula (14-4) at 8 a.m. Friday.

Girls soccer: 1A state semifinal — King’s vs. Seattle Academy, 2 p.m. Friday at Shoreline Stadium. Making its seventh state semifinal appearance in eight seasons, King’s (17-4-0) faces Seattle Academy (13-3-1) in a rematch of the Knights’ 2-0 win the in 1A Northwest/Sea-King Bi-District title match. The winner advances to face either Cascade-Leavenworth or Lakeside-Nine Mile Falls in the state championship at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shoreline Stadium.

Football: 4A state quarterfinal — No. 11 Mount Si at No. 3 Lake Stevens, 1 p.m. Saturday. After beating Union 28-21 in a first-round rematch of last year’s state title game, Lake Stevens (11-0) faces Mount Si (9-2) for a spot in the state semifinals. The Vikings are seeking their third semifinal berth in five seasons.

Football: 3A state quarterfinal — No. 6 Marysville Pilchuck at No. 3 Lincoln, 1 p.m. Saturday. Coming off a dramatic 37-30 overtime win over Prairie, Marysville Pilchuck (11-0) faces talent-laden Lincoln (9-2) for a spot in the state semifinals. The Abes’ only two losses were to 4A state-title contenders Camas and Lake Stevens.

Football: 2A state quarterfinal — No. 8 Archbishop Murphy at No. 1 Tumwater, 1 p.m. Saturday. After routing North Kitsap 46-0, Archbishop Murphy (8-2) faces Tumwater (11-0) for a spot in the state semifinals. This is the seventh state-playoff meeting in the past 10 seasons between these perennial 2A powers. Tumwater won four of the first seven state-playoff matchups.

Football: 2A state quarterfinal — No. 5 Lakewood at No. 4 Hockinson, 4 p.m. Saturday at Battle Ground H.S. Coming off a 38-12 win over Sequim, Lakewood (9-1) faces two-time defending state champion Hockinson (10-1) for a spot in the state semifinals. This is just the third state quarterfinal appearance in program history for the Cougars, who are seeking their first semifinal berth since 1983.
