Edmonds arts center benefit features author Jess Walter

Noted author Jess Walter will be featured at an event benefiting the Edmonds Center for the Arts.

“An Evening with Jess Walter” is set for 6:30 p.m. May 17 at the center, 410 4th Ave. N., Edmonds. Admission is $100.

Walter, who lives in his hometown of Spokane, is the author of 10 books, most recently the bestseller “The Cold Millions,” and No. 1 New York Times bestseller, “Beautiful Ruins.” A copy of “The Cold Millions” is included with admission.

The event is hosted by the Edmonds Bookshop, Mary Kay Sneeringer and David Brewster, Carol Christensen, Nancy Fleck and Jeanne Thorsen.
