EVERETT — Everett’s new Arena Football League team is going to get some national exposure.

The Washington Wolfpack, who are based out of Angel of the Winds Arena and begin their inaugural season in the AFL next month, will have four of their 10 games televised by the NFL Network, the NFL announced Thursday.

The NFL Network will broadcast 30 AFL games this season. They include Wolfpack home games on May 12 against the West Texas Desert Hawks and May 23 against the Oregon Blackbears, as well as away games against the Minnesota Myth on May 30 and the Southwest Kansas Storm on June 9.

“This is an incredible opportunity for both our team and the community to be featured on the national stage,” Wolfpack co-owner and president Mike Thomas said in a statement.

The Wolfpack begin training camp on April 1, with practices taking place at the Snohomish Soccer Dome and Everett Soccer Arena. Washington opens its season on the road on April 27 against the Oregon Blackbears.
