West Virginia to host national fly fishing tournament

Here’s an Associated Press report an an upcoming fly fishing tournament:

CABINS, W.Va. — A national fly-fishing tournament is coming to West Virginia for the second straight year.

The Harman’s North Fork Invitational will be held Thursday through Saturday on the North Fork of the Potomac River’s South Branch in Grant County.

Ten teams will compete and cash prizes will be given to the top three finishers.

Among them will be a team representing Marshall University. Brady Hanson, a fly-fishing guide from Arlington, Va., will represent the university for the second straight year.

He’ll be joined by David Zieg of Ranchland, Colo.

Marshall graduate Greg Hall is a co-director of the tournament.

The event will be featured on the Sportsman Channel.
