Police detained a suspect with a fake weapon around 12:30 p.m. The lockout was lifted before 1:30 p.m.

The shooting shut down traffic on the freeway Wednesday near Marine View Drive, causing a major backup.

Police: Impaired Lynnwood driver fatally ran over baby

The child, age 1, was hit in a driveway. A judge set bail at $500,000 for the driver, 45, accused of vehicular homicide while under the influence.
