Don’t let this show be the one that got away

Outdoor enthusiasts will be thrilled to share their adventure stories at the 2004 Evergreen Sportsmen’s Show continuing this weekend at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, 14405 179th Ave. SE, Monroe.

Through Sunday, the expanded, Portland-based O’Loughlin Trade Show at the fairgrounds makes room for hundreds of displays.

Outdoors aficionados can check out the latest fishing and hunting gear, fishing boats, truck campers and tent trailers.

Top guides and outfitters from the Northwest and North America will present seminars covering fishing and hunting topics – everything from survival training with expert Peter Kummerfeldt to camp cooking.

The show caters to children with its popular free trout pond stocked with thousands of trout for youngsters to catch and keep or release.
