Yum! Food and drink events around Snohomish County

Cracktoberfest: The all-you-can-eat crab festival is at 6 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St., Marysville. The Marysville Kiwanis Club event features an Alaskan king crab feast in an Oktoberfest-style setting. Beer, wine and limited edition steins available for purchase. Proceeds support student scholarships. There will be a silent auction, cash drawings, dessert dash and live music. Tickets are $65. More at www.marysvillekiwanisclub.org or by calling 425-308-2716.

Mukilteo Boys & Girls Club luau: The 50th annual Hawaiian-themed party is 5 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Mukilteo Boys & Girls Club, 10600 47th Place W., Mukilteo. There will be pulled pork and salmon, silent and live auctions, and live music by Mukilteo rock band Legacy. The dress code is “luau casual.” The event is a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club. Everett Sausage Festival: The festival is noon to midnight Sept. 28 and 29, and noon to 7 p.m. Sept. 30 on the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Churchgrounds, 2619 Cedar St., Everett. Features live entertainment, carnival rides, kids games, beer and wine garden, food, arts and crafts, bingo, dinner haus, raffles. More at www.everettsausagefest.com.

Food Truck Fridays: The Washington State Food Truck Association teams up with the Port of Everett to bring food trucks to the Port of Everett Marina from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fridays through September. A variety of food trucks park in the South Marina parking lot between Port Gardner Landing and Marina Village at 1205 Craftsman Way, Suite 200, Everett. Norwegian pancakes: A Norwegian pancake breakfast is set for 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 18 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 2111 117th Ave. NE, Lake Stevens. The breakfast includes all-you-can-eat Norwegian pancakes with strawberries, syrup and sliced ham. Coffee, tea, orange juice and hot chocolate will also be served. Cost is $6 per person. The pancake breakfast is held the third Saturday of each month, September through May. Call 425-334-0421.

Fundraiser breakfast: Breakfast is 8 a.m. Oct. 18 at the Monroe Community Senior Center, 276 Sky River Parkway, Monroe. Pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage and ham will be served. Cost is $6. Kids 10 and younger eat free. The breakfast is held on third Saturdays and supports the Monroe Community Senior Center. Call 360-794-6359.

Dinner in the Barn: Kristoferson Farm is hosting its last monthly dinner of the season at 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at its century-old barn, 332 NE Camano Drive, Camano Island. The menu features wine from Sol Stone Winery and food grown on Camano Island farms. Reservations are required. More at www.facebook.com/KristofersonFarm.

Nordic Fair: The Ingeborg Lodge of Daughters of Norway’s ninth annual Nordic Fair is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 19 at Stillaguamish Grange Hall, 6521 Pioneer Highway, Stanwood. In addition to arts and crafts, Nordic history displays, on the menu is lefse flatbread, krumkake, split pea soup, pie, rommegrot (porridge) and fruktsoppa (fruit soup).
